About half a century ago, New York had a dark period when gangs flourished in the city. Huge bribes to the police and politicians, no one could stop the tyranny of gangs and people had to obey. As they expanded their influence in the city, the conflict over the territories escalated, which eventually led to a large-scale war involving all gangs. The streets of New York were immediately turned into hell, explosions were heard everywhere, the streets were enveloped in flames, bullets whistled continuously, indiscriminately killing anyone, regardless of age and gender. The family of Leroy, then still a boy, also found themselves in a brutal shootout. The parents were killed, and the injured child fell into the river and was washed into the sea. In his fading consciousness, he acutely felt his helplessness and a deep desire to take revenge on the bandits. Fortunately, he was picked up on a merchant ship, thanks to which the boy survived.
